Subject: Siberian Trade Mission


TRADE MISSION TO SIBERIA

Washington State University and Ecologically Sustainable Development, Inc.
are sponsoring a trade mission to Central Russia from June 21 through
July 6,1996.  The mission will visit Moscow, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, and Ulan Ude,
with an optional stop at the technology center at Puschino.

The mission will be Iimitied to 15 participants and will provide individual
business appointments with industry counterparts.  WSU and ESD have offices
with English-speaking staff in each city to arrange contacts and support
business connections.

No administrative costs are charged to participants.  Travelers pay for
their own transportation, lodging and food but all travel arrangements and
interpreter costs are absorbed by WSU.  Expenses are estimated to be
approximately $3900.
